1984 Camaro ZF?
I'm trying to find out what denotes a Camaro ZF, my mother-in-law has a 1984 Camaro ZF (says ZF from the factory on the rear bumper) she bought brand new in 1984 and is wanting to sell it. We are trying to figure out exactly what the "ZF" stands for, anyone here able to help me out? Thanks.

This is one of those topics you'll probably get a "search" by asking, but in this case it probably wont do much good as "zf" is only 2 characters and you have to have at least 3 to search.
As far as i remember ZF was an apperence package, woodgrain trim, zf badges and the like. East coast dealership options i believe. I wouldnt consider it rare or valueable in any way.
If i someone was searching for an zf because they had one when they were younger..or some other sentimental reason. Otherwise its only as valueable as the model which was optioned. Usually Sports coupes i believe.

Ok thank, that's what I assumed it was but wanted to be sure. It has the ZF badge on the rear bumper, woodgrain trim on the inside, stripe package and a factory installed sunroof. I couldn't find any information on the web, and tried to search here before posting but got the "must have 3 letter" response. And yes we are East Coast, so maybe it was a region-specific package. Thanks so much.
Now another question if I may, the car is 1 owner, but needs some cosmetics, i.e. paint, some surface rust on hood and roof, seats ripped and dash cracked. Best part is the car has 58K original miles and mechanically is excellent. What would be a reasonable asking price for it?
