Help! RPO sticker!

Unless its different from a camaro and not in the center consol, mine came off. Is there any way to get a replacement, i.e. sending the VIN into GM or something?

Not for an 87, I believe. Do a search on the History and Restoration forum.

go to http://www.window-sticker.com/. They make repro RPO labels. You will have to provide something that list the options you have. Your best bet is to get your factory invoice from GM and then send it in.

I do know you cannot get a dealer RPO sticker for your car.. the only thing a dealer can give you is a list of RPO codes for your car after running the last 8 of your VIN on a peice of paper they print of their computer.. been there done that.

For a 91 they can, yes. I don't believe you can for an 87 though. I forget the cutoff year.

I'd sure like to see that..

3 different dealers told me I couldnt get one from them, only a list printed of the computer. This was only about 3 months ago.

FWIW, the cutoff year (at least for Firebird) is '90; Pontiac claims to have no data prior to that. I found out the hard way while trying to get information about my newly-acquired '89 Firebird that has no SPID label

Knowing my luck, I'd drive to Canada for this service and wind up missing the cutoff by a day

BTW, you should have an email
