You're gonna have to pay anyway. Pontiac info comes from PHS and they charge regardless of Canada or US. I have heard that you get more information also.

Here's who you need to send the info to:
cac@chevrolet.com
Here's the info you need to provide:
1. Your VIN
2. Mailing Address
3. Day and evening phone number
What you will get is a booklet with Past Model Information and another packet with Year Specific Information.
The specs booklet is very detailed it include all types of info from curb weight to individual components weights. Dimensions, order options, RPO's and all kinds of other info.
It is very helpful and will be quite handy if you try and restore a thirdgen twenty years from now. Best of all its free. I just thought I would share this info.
I need to give credit to Jim85IROC who is SiteAdmin at www.iroczone.com who brought this to my attention. I imagine he has a username on here and I thank you. Great site for us Iroc-Z owners.

Re: Official Resoration Package Request Form.
I went with the Pontiac Historical package. Not a bad package. But I was disappointed that the window sticker came in US pricing rather than Canadian pricing.
It was over $10,000 cheaper on the PHS window sticker than the original selling price in Canada was.

Funny story......I tried to order these a few years ago.The lady told me they were sent out but I never received them.Gave me some lame excuse about the post office possibly holding up my mail.Told me to check with the post office and that they couldnt resend them.Funny how I got all my other mail.Well anyways I ordered them again on 3/10 by email and got a call back from a rep the same day to verify my info.He told me that my order was processed and it would take 3-4 weeks for them to arrive.I got them today by fedex 3 days after I ordered them. Now thats what I call service

Re: Official Resoration Package Request Form.
Since its free its worth it. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones based on reading some peoples difficulty in obtaining. Took less than a week between submitting email and having pkg FedEx'd on my doorstep for me. Consists of basically two parts, one; a listing of all licensees (address's/phone#'s) for GM parts, and two; the specs pages which gets you a lot of pictures and almost all conceivable RPO codes to decipher, weights, demensions, and prices of options. Its all in black n white photocopies on 8x11 paper.
Will you learn something new..probably. Don't drool in anticipation however. Still very cool of GM/Chevrolet to offer.

Mine just came in today. The guy on the phone told me it was going to take 3-4 weeks for it to show up, so I was pleasantly suprised when it showed up in 2 days. Also, the packet it not vehicle specific. If you ordered one for a 1988 camaro, you are getting a packet for 88 camaros in general, not your car. Just FYI. It is a really interesting packet with a lot of good info though.

Re: Official Resoration Package Request Form.
I got one a couple years ago and I am wondering if everyone is getting the photo copy version?
The copy I recieved is hard to read in a lot of spots because of the poor quality of the photo copy.
I think I remember seeing something in it refering to the information coming from "The Camaro white book"
is it the same information that is in the white book?
