I found an old ASC building

First off, I don't know if I should post this in here or the convertible board, so if it gets moved, I would understand.

Anyway, I have been driving on this one road for years now, but just yesterday I noticed something new. There is a small industrial park off to the side, and on one of the buildings is the ASC logo. No mistaking it. Unforunatly, the building that the sign is on is up for rent, and ASC is long since moved out. The building is in Glenview IL. I know that the address that ASC gives on their brochure is in MI. So what gives? Does anyone know what went on at this location? The building is quite small, about 10,000 square feet. Surely not big enough to be pumping out quantities of factory convertible conversions, but too big to be just an office.

I haven't gotten a chance to investigate further yet, I want to call the number on the for rent sign and ask them about the previous tenants and maybe even look around inside.

Here's a generic pic of the logo, I will try to get a pic of the actual building with the sign on it tomorrow.

Perhaps it was an authorized ASC installation or repair facility. There are many shops that do/did sunroof and convertible work for ASC.

Thats exactly what it was. I went there today and talked the guys next door for a while. They said that it was an ASC licensed parts and repair center. The acutal shop was called Lang automotive. I'm going to try to get a hold of Lang and see if I can get that old ASC sign off of his hands. That would be kind of a cool piece of automobilia, an 8 foot by 12 foot ASC sign.
