how many built
I have a 85 z28 that is silver w/ charcoal ground effecs. It is a factory tuneport car. Was courious how many silver 85 z28s were built. So far mine is the only one ive seen. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks.

I could be wrong, but wasn't tuned port injection first available in 86 in Camaro's and 87 in Firebirds? I know TPI was available in Corvette's in 85, but not thirdgens.

Not sure about your production numbers, but they are rare.
Fisherbody86,
TPI was first available in 85 for both the 'Vette and Z28/IROC-Z.
The Camaro TPI's were all 305's (215hp), the 'Vettes were 350's(230hp).

Nope the 1st yr for the 350 L98 TPI was in 1987 for the F Body of course.. Yes 1985 TPI was introduced and was placed in a Corvette, after the terrible 84 Cross Fire Injection.
