thought you'd like to add this to your registry. He doesn't advertise it as an IROC-Z, but a Z28.

Car: 87 IROC-Z
Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: automatic
Axle/Gears: 3.23
I see the fabric on the door panels is still stuck to the panel. Unlike mine, or any other Van Nuys car. That car was built in Norwood, My friends 87 was also built in Norwood and his door panels are still glued together!
I see a pattern here!

Car: 1987 Z28 Convertible
Engine: 305 TPI

Yep, this one would be number 13, as long as the owner supplies me contact info. I will e-mail him.
Original notables:
1987 Z28 Convertible (not an IROC-Z)
41U: Black Exterior
49A: Gold Rockers & Emblems w/gold striping
1SC Option Package #3, includes power driver's seat and fog lamps. Highly desirable.
19T Black top
19C Black cloth custom interior, not gray
The closest car to this one in my registry belongs to Laury Ruttenberg. Hope he doesn't mind me posting a pic of his. It's awesome! Exterior wise, they are identical. The only difference I see is Laury's has a tan leather interior. The car being sold should look identical to Laury's if it's taken back to original. Unfortunately, the 1987 Z28 striping hasn't been available in years and no one reproduces it (the only year!). The drivetrain is identical in the two cars:

Car: '88 Sport Coupe Convertible in Yellow Gold
Engine: '70 LT1, AFR 190s

Found a couple more '87 verts on autotrader.com. the first one is listed as a non IROC - Z28. the other 2 are 25th aniversary editions with no IROC stickers on the doors.

Willie, Here's one for ya.... I just found out that Yellow was available on Z28s in '87, and after crunching some numbers, there is a theoretical probability that 2 (1.6) non IROC Z28 verts were produced in Yellow......and that is using your 10% Z28 to IrocZ vert production estimate . Man, if a factory yellow '87 Z28 vert exists................ I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
