I mean I got one and I found out today that even my lighting system is ****ed up, the parking lights and foglights have switched positions for example.

As I understand it, in the US cars, the parking lights in front are down next to the front turn-lights and the foglights are inside the flip-top lamps.

Now in my car, you cannot turn on the parking lights without causing the flip-tops to come up, and the parking lights are inside that, the front foglights are down where the parking lights should be instead!

Argh! this is so annoying, it utterly prevents me from running with only the parking lights on and the flip-tops down in the summer!
I am going to correct this suck-*** feature or die trying!

 

I would replace my headlight switch before I did anything else, as I had this exact same problem. Switching the switch out cured what ailed me.
