This is on eBay,

It is an 82 Indy Pace car Camaro. He stats that it was a carb motor stock... but I thought all were CFI?

They also came with the LG4... I think the all LG4 pace cars were manuals and all the LU5 pace cars were autos. I know thats how it was on the '83 Daytona Trans Am...

Wow..that was actually one of my old cars...
Anyway..you could get the carb engine with an auto transmission. The majority of them came that way. The manual tranny was optional on the carb engine, but not the crossfire engine. It was available with auto tranny only.
I may have to bid on that one..

To bad Mine is soon to be off the place. after two years of my husband NOT doing a thing to the car its finally going down the road.
I am getting $1750 for the car. I hate to see it go but I dont want it sitting anylonger.

Sorry to hear that she is going down the road Tammy. I guess if you were not able to restore it was prolly best. Being one of the rare ones with 4 wheel disc brakes, it really deserved to be restored.
$1750 is pretty darn good for it I think..

Yea it is a good price for the condition the car is in.
The guy did promise me that his first goal is to get the car running again. then restore it. If he decideds to sell it I get it back for close to the same price.
Right now my husband rather spend money & time on a late 60s pick up or 1st gen then on the pace car.
