What is this?
Found this glued to the dash under the pad. The RPOs match my TAs yet the VIN doesn't, plus the date on it is 91 my car was assembled 02-20-1992.
Anyone seen this before? Should I be worried? Has my dash been replaced? I bought the car in Feb of 2000 with 57,xxx miles on the clock. Looked to be almost 100% original. Of course I found out the original 305 was replaced at some point.

after the factory installs those options, they run a system check on the wiring harness. The OK ensures the car left the factory with that harness, and those options functioning

I would not worry about it, Its more than likely the original. The Vin thats on there looks like 042354, Considering all Pontiac Firebirds/TA's etc started at 200001, there never was a Car with the VIN 042354. As for the date, keep in mind that it might be a left over part from 1991 put into a 1992 car, not unusual considering they used the same dash.
