85 Z28 steering box?

Did all 85 Z28's get a close ratio steering box. What is the RPO for that option if it had it. Is there any way to tell if it is close ratio by looking at it. I need some clues here.

There were no steering box options. The SC/Berlinetta's ratio is 3 to 1, the Z28/IROC-Z is 2.5 to 1. There is one minor difference in the Z28 boxes. With the IROC-Z option, there were stops used to limit the turn radius somewhat. This prevented the "huge" 50-series tires from rubbing.

I do not know how to differentiate the boxes by physically looking at them, i.e. casting numbers. Sorry, I know this is the info you're looking for.
