Anyone know the number of 84 Camaros w/o AC? How about w/o power windows and door locks? And how about with 4 wheel discs? I know the "white book" must have this info.

 

good luck finding these ones, i really don't think you;ll find any info on exact numbers without ac

 

To get an idea on how many cars did NOT have these options, the only way I know to figure this out is to compare the total number of cars built to the total number of cars that had them and then do the math...which I will leave up to you.

According to the "White Book" (which may or may not be correct)...

There were 261,591 Camaro Produced in 84. Of those, 196,120 had RPO code C60 and 31,746 had RPO C67 (AC-Electric Berlinetta only). You add those together and get 227, 866 cars WITH Air Conditioning. You then subtract this number from the total cars produced that year (261, 591) and you get 33,725 cars without AC (OK I did the first one for you..)

Now Power Window wise...take the total number produced..261,591 and subtract 130,522 cars that had RPO A31 and you will (see I told you I would let you do the math) roughly half of the cars had it..

Power Locks....100,242 cars had RPO AU3, so that would leave roughly 160,000 cars WITHOUT..

The rear disc one is easy...there were 17,494 cars that had RPO J65..

Yep, there's one! Thanks for the info Tom, I can do the math. I wish there were a way to figure out combinatons of options, I think I have a fairly rare one. Too bad it's not worth much.

And i dont know if i have the conteur seats, or any paint body schemes... I have drums in the rear though...

 

how come everyone says its hard to find any no ac thirdgens in the junkyards? i have 4 no ac heater boxes in 4 of my parts thirdgens. are the no ac heater boxes worth money or somethin? i plan on swapping one of them into my 85z
