B4c ?

Just a stupid question. What is exactly the B4C package? Did it add any hp or any suspension upgrades. There is one for sale in my area and was wondering if it was a good deal.

It was basically a Z28 dressed up as a plain-jane Camaro RS so it was stealthy... it was a package for the police to use.

The performance was the same as a Z28 of the same year. If there is one for sale, get it! They are pretty rare, and usually worth substantially more than a typical 3rdgen F-body.

Not neccessarily... high milage, possibly, but most police depatments actually take very good care of their cars. Around here its almost sick how well they are maintained.

i have only seen 2 or 3 that were used in daily patrol, most were used as dare cars, or rarely used.

Well I guess you don't get around much. If the State Highwy Patrol had them they were used. However since the last 3rd Gen
B4C cars are long out of service. Its the 4th Gen ones to watch for now, for example Florida HP has over 300 Z-28's in use.

My neighbor just purchased one with 40,000 miles for 7 grand! He's really not smart though...since he leaves it outside...uses it as a daily and has already had someone crunch his front quarter panel. Not to mention that he installed one of those "pimpy" chrome slatted front grills. He was trying to keep up with me in and my IROC, TTA, and 70 Firebird 400

the 4th gen B4C are a joke there is nothing special about them at all and as stated above they have made way to many of them to ever be the least bit hard to find
the front brakes are the same as a z28s
you could get rear disks with a V6
plus I have driven alot of them and I dont see the appeal of the 4th gens

but if there is a 3rd gen B4c grab it you might get lucky and get a 5spd 92 with the 1le front brakes theres tons of info on the board about um just due a search
