Want a look back into third-gen history? There's a real funny commercial best buy has out right now. Let's just say Camaro, ******, and VCR. Anyone seen it......too bad I didn't have my third gen in the 80's....I would have been real cool then. lol.

That was hi tech back then. Before that, the remote was, "go up and change the channel". My brother and I were the remote controls But at least there were only 13 or so channels then....

i laugh everytime i see that commercial. I always sing to the background song too. I use to think it was Motorhead! whats your price tonight. I looked it up and the actual lyrics were your motorin whats your price for flight. lol But ya great commercial.

About the whole its cool i told my family see the commercial with the camaro is the cool thing. Then my brother has to burst my bubble and say ya "was" cool in the 80s! After that all hell broke loose...

Great tune, great outfit, great hair, awesome car...It looked to me like it had a targa top. Were my eyes fooling me? BTW, I saw an old Simon and Simon repeat the other night. They had a nice IROC with a Targa top. Anyone remember the year? I swear it had to be 82 or 83.

 

It was a T'top camaro somewhere in the 85-90 range with gfx. Its odd but I like the commercial too, even with the ******.
