Car: Hopefully a 92 Z28 Conv w/ heritage
Value of a 92 Z28 Conv. Z03

Hello to all, I am new to this forum but not new to Camaros. I have owned 1st Gens, 2nd Gens, and 2 4th Gens. I have never owned a 3rd Gen until possibly soon with your help.

I have found a 92 Z28 Conv Heritage (black w/ Red stripes) Red Leather Seats, power seats, Factory CD, 305/T5 w/ 80,000. I have seen many photos of it but have not personally seen it. My question is this: How do I find the value of it, he is asking $9G and KBB, Edmunds, NADA all say its worth around 6-7G???? I know that it's only worth what someone will pay but I want to find a value that is an average out there. I have seen somewhere on here that NADA has a price guide for "Classics" and that NADA will give a value of 11550 for a Low retail value. So what do you think, is it worth 9G (keep in mind I have only seen photos of it)

I appreciate any help you guys can give and I look forward to learning more things from this site.

Car: 87 IROC-Z, 82 Pace Car
I just tried the KBB guide for an 87 Z28 convertible, fully loaded, 22000 miles and excellent condition and it rang in at $3400. This is a farce as everybody knows the value of the 87 Z28 convertible is much more than that. When checking KBB for the 92, it doesn't offer options for the Z03. NADA Guides shows that the only 92 Chevrolet that would be considered a classic is the Z03 package Camaro. Based on what I've seen of 92 Z28 pricing, I believe $9k is fair if the car is in great shape. I usually see them with a much higher asking price. I found one today on autotrader.com that had, I think, 59k miles for $8500. I was very surprised to see the low mileage with that asking price. My opinion is that $9k is high for the mileage, but the market rules and shows that any mileage on a clean 92 Z28 should bring in alot more. I'd say if you are comfortable with it, get it.
