Cross-Fire Injection

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone has a crossfire set up in there car? Also, could anyone tell me what the production number were and also what years did they produce the Z28 with the crossfire injection motor?

Thanks for you help in advance.

Sure, some people here have the Crossfire. Glad I don't.

They were available in Z28 and Trans Am in 82 and 83 only.

I'm not sure on production #s.

My '82 had CFI but one of the previous owners replaced it with a carb and then TBI from an L03. I bought a CFI setup and will be swapping it back on my car.

Look at my sig and my 82 trans am's info under my user id.Crossfire's were rare in 82,83 trans am's.And had a bad rep for being a bad engine i agree cause mine idles fast and it only has 61k original miles. But i plan on rebuilding It since my car is kinda rare for many reasons

My 83 T/A had cross fire injection, and i liked it it had alot of torque and ran great and was reliable.
It's nothin like my tuned port i have now but i wouldn't say anything bad about it.
In fact i still have the air cleaner assembly in the garage.
