92 Z28

Not sure if this is the right forum--but I saw a 92 Z28 w/350 tpi for sale. Car needed a front bumper cover, headlight bar(headlights were cocked) lower chin spoiler, hood w/blisters, paint, and I think both fenders. Car had the factory cd player which was original! Had 109,000 miles on it. Rims had some rash on them. Interior looked clean except for the usual driver set wear through(bolster). Car was teal green.
Didn't know how it ran tho. Guy wanted $3500! I know the 92 Z28's w/5.7's are rare--but how rare? And how rare w/a factory cd player? Was his price way too much?(I thought so)

I heard factory cd players are rare tho.
I'd say that car was worth maybe $1500-imo.

Consider also that the '92 Z28 was the only third gen Z28 that Dark Teal Metallic (the official name for this color) was available on.

This pic is Tim Burgess' car (Electronics Board moderator), a '92 Z28, 305 / 5-speed, G92, Dark Teal Metallic......++++
