One less Iroc in the world...
well despite, all of my best financial and mechanical efforts, i lost the iroc today. an electrical fire destroyed my year long restoration about 2mo ago, and after months of phone calls and ads in the TGO classifieds, my mom got fed up and towed it to the junkyard. the final demise of my dream car, and a very untimely death for such a beautiful piece of american muscle...

someday ill resurect Jenna, when i have the finances and facilities to take better care of her. anyway my question is, how many irocs were made total, and how many of them are still on the road? is it possible to find one in almost new condition? i saw an 87 iroc with 1,057 original miles on ebay for $15,000, thats more than they went for on the showroom floor. whats reasonable? ideas?

There were lots of Iroc-z's made, should be no problem finding one.
How many are still on the road is anyone's guess. Probably less than the average used car, because these cars tended to get beat on and/or wrecked.
Lastly, $15,000 is less than that car sold for new. Mine retailed for a little over $19,000, and it does not have all the options.
Keep looking, Iroc's are cheap and plentiful. I'd have a hard time getting $7,000 for mine and it's in excellent condition throughout.
