This could be very wrong but:

Going on the fact that all 1992 Z28 350 cars were automatically G92, and the camaro white book lists the qty for the G92 RPO as 3,056 and that there were 3,038 RPO B2L (350 engine) used in 1992, one would arrive at only 18 leftover G92 RPO for the LB9 305 TPI cars, anyone got anything to back this up or dispute it ?

That's the same conclusion I drew from the data - I purchased one of the 18 new, back in '92 & it's still my daily driver.....and runs 11's in the 1/4 with the original 305......

Thanks. I'm using 125 hp nitrous to get into the 11's - the car runs high 12's on just the 305. I'm using a SP-L98 cam from TPIS & their Big Mouth intake, lg tube runners & 52 mm TB. I'll send you a copy of my mods list if you would like to take a look at it.....let me know.

AL,
If your going to do heads and the cam, rebuild the engine, well worth it, especially when you consider how much you will have in tyour heads and cam...

Hey you think you could send the list my way? I'm looking foir ways to make my car faster, everything from modding the 305 to dropping in a new engine to putting a blower on it. Also, is ot your daily driver?

Thanks,

Matt

Guys,

If you want Tim's mods list, please e-mail him. He'll be glad to send it your way. He can also be found moderating the Electronics board, for those who don't know. BTW, Tim's car is also rare in a couple of other respects. It's a dark metallic teal Z28. This combo was used only in 1992. It's fully loaded with leather seats and all performance options, including G80, G92, J65, dual cats, etc....

Now, let's get back to the original subject matter at hand....

Willie

No prob, I'll send the list out. It's my daily driver & has over 160K miles on it, so I wouldn't sweat running the NOS on a high mileage motor - just don't let it run lean!!
