I had to resort to my original pic capture to get focus but here's some cool 1983 stuff:

Oops, forgot to rotate them... Fixed
I see some threads locked since I last came... I just want to say that for the most part, I appreciated the content... People are not quick to flame anyone...even on a moderated board, I've seen some before.
Even if your not driving or fixing your ride, I found the third gen and GM trivia of interest... even comparing to other cars on the market before and since. That being said, I hope we don't get to restrictive in topic content.

You'll need to know this is the October 1982 [!!!] issue of Hot Rod, and an original subscription copy from my collection.
The cover story Camaro is a Hooker Headers setup with Joe MacPherson Chevy big block 454!
Hooker supplied the spoiler which I can't recall seeing around here but looks damn nice
...with the right spring and rubber stance!
Centerlines sized P225/50VR 15 and P265/50VR 15 on 15x10 rims
The distributer was special selected and requires minor mod to remove or install.
compression said to be 10.2:1
Swap entailed new crossmember for tranny fabrication with TCI Turbo trans (400 auto)
396 and 427 engines are mentioned in swap capability as well. If you own the very early 80s cars, worth looking for these articles possibly.
