F41 Vs Fe2
I drove a Camaro with F41 and it rode nice---my car (with FE2 and 15" tires) is HORRIBLE---like having wooden weels---so much damn interior noise and piunding...err...I digress.
Can anyone detail of list of differences (spec would be nice) between these two? Ride height ect?

That sounds backwards. The FE2 Level suspension on firebirds was a different level of WS6. Also I don't think FE2 was ever equiped with 15" rims. I believe all formulas, TA's and GTA's had 16" rims mandatory. But I could be wrong. The FE2 should have turned like it was on Rails, not wood wheels, and the F41 was just the base level suspension after like 86 or so.

With Camaros, FE2 and 15" wheels could come together.
The stock FE2 spring rates are 548lbs for the front and 131lbs for the back. With F41, they drop down to 365lbs in the front and 102lbs (pretty close to the 68-69 Z28 rates) That could explain part of the softness with the F41 setup.

What about ride height and different shocks/struts?
iroc22 does your car have FE2? One more.....was F41 the suspension on 82-87 Camaro Z28's?
91z4me--I said rides like it has wooden wheels---no mention of cornering---which isn't great casue of the 15" wheels/tires. I have a HORRIBLE ride and can't corner---rather have a nice ride.
Okay I lied---one last thing---isn't FE2 on the WS6? What is WS6?

WS6 vs FE2
I have BOTH FE2 and WS6 on my Formula. WS6 is unique to Firebirds. It means performance suspension on third gens, though the term originated with late 70's Trans Ams and Formulas. WS6 on a Formula or Trans Am (standard) means FE2 suspension, 16x8" wheels. Later it was resurrected on the so-called "Ram Air" Formulas and Trans Ams from '96 onward. FE2 is an F-Body suspension level, as opposed to FE1 or F41. Although F41 shows up in my Firebird service manual, I believe mostly Camaros had this - it was a suspension grade between FE1 and FE2.
