info on this spoiler

i've been told this spoiler was only put on camaros during half of 88 is this true? i just want some info on it because i plan on selling it.

Yes, it's true. The aerowing was not ready for production 1988 Sport Coupes at the time of release. These cars came with the three-piece design for only the first couple months of production Therefore, most 1988 Sport Coupes came with the aerowing spoiler (RPO D81):

1988 Sport Coupe
D80 (3-piece): 8,693
D81 (Aerowing): 59,271
Total Production: 67,694
