84 Z28 M4???

I have a friend who is picking up an 84 Z28, and she SWEARS its an M4. I looked it up, and i'm not finding an M4. Is she crazy?!

Engine: LU5 CFI 305 V8
Transmission: TH-200C
Axle/Gears: 3.23 F-body Fanatic: Yes
yeah she's either misinformed, or it's a swapped-in transmission. As far as thirdgen Z28 goes, 1982 was the only year for M4. In 83 and 84 I believe the M4 was something that only base camaros got if they had the Iron Duke L4 motor, but 84 Z28 definitely M5 or A4; no other possibilities.
