Z03 Question
I read on here somewhere a while back that on the Z03 package you got body colored wheels instead of gray. Is this true? The reason why I'm asking, is because I finally came across my RPO codes after a dilligent search. I've got a red 92 with black heritage stripes, and I wasn't for sure even if they were factory or not untill I found the RPO code of Z03. Mine has the 84P RPO code for the wheels though, which rules out the body colored wheels, but instead gives me grey. Did GM do a combination of both?

Yes, they did a combination of both. A friend of mine ran into this when he ordered his '92.
You had to specify that you wanted the grey wheels by ordering RPO 84P (17P in 1991). If you did not specify that you wanted grey wheels (which most dealers didn't) the body color wheels went on the car. This applies to both Z03 and non-Z03 Camaros.
