Is this Factory?

On my 86 IROC there are these same stripes running down each side of the car. It goes along the top of the front fender, doors, and read quater panels. Like on this Car.

I have never seen Srips on a stock car like that. Anyways the striping you are talking about is called pinstrips. if they are vinal check to see if you can take them off with a finger nail.
But as I said I have never seen GM do that on any of their cars.

Pinstriping is not a factory option. The dealer or the previous owner added those. Dealers charge about $100 for pinstriping while it uses only $5 worth of vinyl tape and takes less than 5 minutes to put on the car.

i think pin stripes are a detraction from the thirdgen. I haven't really been a fan of them...they peel and get even uglier over time... just my .02
