92 RS Convertible

I have wanted a 92 Camaro Convertible for as long as I can remember. I finally found one that meets my specifications. A friend of mine bought one a few months ago, had the entire body redone and updated. It is Polo Green with Tan Leather Interior and a Tan top. It has a Glastek 2" cowl hood, blacked out headlight pockets, 25th anniversary rims, new emblem, new turn signal lenses all updated after new paint. Had it painted by a good friend of mine who owns a body shop that does some nice work.

The car has 113k and is a TBI Motor with Auto Tranny. Is 6k a fair price for this?

With that many miles the price seems a little steep, but the verts, in my opinion, seem to be getting pretty desirable. The car looks really nice though, so try and talk em down a little.

That thing looks exactly like mine did when I bought it except for that cowl hood...almost the same exact mileage too. I paid $6000 for mine and it was worth it because it was the cleanest vert I had found. If you don't want to buy it, let me know, I'd like to buy that one for my dad if you don't want it.

Here's what mine looked like the day I bought it:

Fredo,

I recall talking to you about this car when my buddy first purchased it. I worked out a deal for $5600 on it. I am flying up North to get it on October 16th. I am quite excited. The car does need a few miscellaneous items.

Drivers Seat is Tore Up
Tires
Mildly Cracked Dashpad
Faded ShiftPlate

But that is really all. I think it is worth it. I really want a thirdgen vert. Hopefully the motor will last till I can get some bucks to dump into it.

Thanks for your feedback man!

Congrats on the car man! $5600 is a good deal. That's funny that the driver's seat is torn up because when I bought mine, the driver's seat had been slashed, the dash had a crack in it and believe it or not, it needed tires too. Kind of Scary how alike the two cars are. If you tranny dies at about 140k miles and you end up putting an LT1/T56 setup in it, I will be shocked.

Since you're in Austin, I'd like to come see it after you get it. I'm in College Station for school and Austin isn't that bad of a drive at 90+mph.

That would be great. I would love to meet ya. I have a GTA that has the LT1. Six Speed is in the Garage awaiting the transplant.
