I ran my vin number on the decoder section it came back as a formula? I bought it from the original owner with 12,000 miles on it, but it is a GTA trans am. it has the radio in the wheel, gray leather dentist style seats with the funky head rest, gta badges in and outside the vehicle, the owner was an older man in his late 50s and I dont think he would have spent the money putting in GTA seats and badges and keep it for a couple months to sell it later on??? any suggestions or are there any other checks i can do to find out exactly what my car is? it has the front and rear big sway bars and 350 tuned port motor, 9 bolt borg warner rear,

 

 

open the trunk and open up the little compartment witht the key, and look at the rpo codes they might say something..

 

Actually the SPID label was in the center console until mid 91....
