i know 1sc is referring to one of the option packages that gm introduced for the 1987 model year, i think.

iirc, 1sc was the rpo code for the "fully loaded" package that included most of the creature comforts. i'm not sure what all was included.

a search thru the technical database may spring up some leads into that.

The speedometer related deletes showed that an electronic speedo was used instead of a mechanical. The 1SC was the fully loaded options package. 1SA was the basic package, 1SB had more features and then came 1SC.

Yes, I know it's an old post. But, I also have RPO's E5Z and E9Z, and I have a mechanical speedo, so I assume the related info Scott provided is incorrect.
Does anyone know for sure what E5Z and E9Z are?

I also have E7Z...
