Odd colors

Would like to know if anyone else has seen a navy blue/kahki colors third gen Camaro.

I drive around a LOT just to go see the other thirdgens here and I'd never seen one that color....

I've seen 1 or 2 navy blue Z28s. if I remember right they had silver trim with multi-color striping. They looked like mid third gen, maybe 84-87.

In the early third gen years there were actually quite a few colors which were very rare, usually one-year-only, which you never seen anymore these days, like brown & gold Z28, light blue T/A, jadestone green Firebird S/E, brown & gold T/A, many more I don't have pics of. Same with the interiors.. like a maroon T/A interior.. try finding those interior replacement parts .. d'oh.

Navy blue, or Dk. Blue as Chevrolet called it used on 1982-87 Sport Coupe, Z28 (real popular in '84), 1985-86 Berlinetta & 1987 LT. The closest thing to kahki is going to be the Beige used 1983-85. And I think you could only get it with the gold gfx & wheels. Alot of people hate this color combo but IMO when it's clean it looks great.

He's talking about the Dark Blue Metallic car with the tan or gold GFX. Yes they have been seen and are out there. The combo you are mentioning was available on the 3rd gens when the gold package was ordered. This combo came with gold rims, gold stripes and accenting and tan interior.

Thanks for clearing that up Scott! Dk. Blue on gold (as I call it). Used on 1985-87 Z28. Although I have only seen a 1985 example and a 1987 example. So I can only assume it was available in 1986.
