H.O cars had: Dual Snorkel Air Cleaners, larger cfm carb, higher compression, different cam, electric fan, 3.73 rear, of course different badges, and some other stuff I can't think of now.

I didn't realize they got larger cfm carb, I thought they all got the same q-jet carb.

Don't forget different cat, manifolds and exhaust. Pretty sure that's about the extent of the differences besides optional equipment.

Didnt the compression on the lg4 go to 9:5:1 in 85-86? I was looking at a chilton today it had the compression listed as being
8:5:1? I know you cant believe everything you read because it had the horsepowre rated at 155. I know that cant be right because my lg4 has some where around 400 to a million horsepower!

Yup.

The differences with the L69 cars are: 3.73's, larger 2.5" monolith brick type cat, larger exhaust, corvette profile camshaft, richer metering rods (same Q-jet),dual snorkel air cleaner, and before the LG4's got them they had electric fans and higher comp ratio. That's about it.
