Scot, I would also be very interested in buying a set for my 89 Trans Am, assuming they're ready no later than, say, June '09.
I'll keep an eye on this post.

Spaghetti is still working on closing out year end projects with other vendors and as soon as they are caught up they will be back on the LED lights. I'm in contact with them weekly and I am trying my best to get these pushed along. They are not far away so please hang in there..
I will imediately let you know when I recive any more info..

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
Whats up EVERYONE!!!
FINALLY, these are getting done. Main reason I stopped with contacting is Spaghetti said they would 'in time' end up making them for us anyway. Also because of the mass confusion over what was wanted in the end.
I don't care how they make these anymore as long as they get made. I am so ready to get a set...but let me save just a tad, buying the KLEARZ lenses this week, along with exhaust and others...
Post when they have video.
Scott glad to meet you. Or is that Scot?
P.S. Kris I see your keeping up with basically modding around the threads..ha ha, keep everyone in line.

So all in all Both are the same price but one company outperforms in the fact that they have video, reputable feedback and great details on what you will get and how to install without modification.
Ill trust Spaghetti over these Ebay knockoffs.

Would it be possible to get the yellow LEDs replaced with red LEDs for the turn signals. I have custom lenses, the amber part is now red on my car. They would look really good all red and sequential.
Dear krisb410,
Thank you for asking. Yes, I can do these in all red, $255.95 plus shipping.
I have these in sequential now. Just need to finish testing. $289.95 plus shipping. Should have these ready this Wednesday.

EDIT: I just noticed that these don't do the "wrap around" though. I still may order and Keep the standard 194s bulb. Depends on what happens here.

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
No real detail as to what you get picture wise. Also note he states you will need to cut away material from the housing for the boards to fit whereas the Spaghetti is plug and play. He also states this isn't sequential and is testing sequential kits which I figure would end up being more how it sounds to me.

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
I personally sure as heck would Not pay $300+ for something that I have absolutely No idea what it looks like. They don't have any pictures of the lights installed in any cars so who is here to believe they will even be worth the money. That's a LOT of money to waste to discover it looks horrible or doesn't work properly.
The whole website and it's VERY choppy cropped pictures are very unprofessionally looking. The images are all photoshopped.. You'd think they would show the pictures ON real cars and not photoshopped onto a picture of a car..

Will you make one to fit a 1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am?
Thanks
The reply from northwestmustang:
Dear KITT1983,
Thank you for asking. Yes, they are in design now. Please email me at Classicleds@comcast.net in about three weeks for an update.
Larry
But I will wait and see what Spaghetti has to offer, before I make my decision.

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
Yeah, Classic LED's looks very cheap. They dont provide images like stated above but photoshopped photos. I noticed its family owned whereas Spaghetti has been to SEMA to display award winning products.
So all in all Im not buying Ebay LED Kits especially when an actual professional company who won an award at SEMA for god sakes is making them for the same price.
Now yes the Ebay kit has red leds in the reverse, but how much more light do you need since they are LED's already. The wrap around no longer bothers me.
I WANT/NEED a stock replacement LED Kit. Amber turn and red brake.
Cant wait. Will have all new tails as soon as this kit comes out.

I think you should do it. I've looked for the last 6 years looking for something other than the stock taillights, I dont mind payin a little cash for them. To me its worth it and I'm sure everybody else feels the same way. I'm down for a set.

These arn't typical eBay chinese made crap either. UMI also sells it's stuff on eBay.
Yeah there photos aren't the highest quality. But it's not cost effective to bring a whole car to the shop to snap a pic, when all you really need to make them is a tail light assembly. Why should I ship my classic ford, chevy, or, my Camaro, to them to make LED tail lights, just so they can snap a pic? When all they really need is the tail light assembly.
Also, family owned business tend to have better customer service than larger corporations. Each has there own advantages though.
I am currently emailing back and fourth with Larry. So far I see no valid reason to not give them a chance.

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
Kris, I dont want to get on you because we work great together but Im just saying that they dont make their kits look good at all. Maybe once you get yours installed especially behind the new lenses I think we will have a better view of how these Classic LED Kits actually are. Because honestly I'd give them a chance if I saw them actually. So lets get at least the Classic kit and see how that goes, we might not even need to wait for Spaghetti. but we'll see.
Okay here is a comparison of both Companies 67-68 Camaro LED Kits. Best I could provide with what info each list.
Classic LED ($ Does not specify in location of kit)
Oddly spaced BULBS, not consistent
LIT UP
NOTE: For our kit they specify needing to mod the stock housings
Spaghetti Engineering ($190)
Evenly spaced Super LED's no bulbs to give glare in lenses, more LED per board
LIT UP (Notice this isnt directly pointed at the light, but appears brighter still)
NOTE: For our kit they state PLUG AND PLAY

Looks like www.classicleds.com is a member of SEMA as well
http://www.sema.org/Main/SemaOrgHome.aspx?ID=53415 about 1/3 down the page.
Check this out too

I am still seriously considering buying from him. I have been emailing back and fourth with him, and his setup is gonna be able to do exactly what I want them to do.
I'm going to leave an open mind.

Buy the kit yet? Whats the hold up and e-mails back and forth for? They work, they fit, GET THEM!
Then maybe Spaghetti will understand we are ready for LED kits or this kit will be sufficient so we wont need a Spaghetti kit.
As much as I hate this next phrase, it HAS to be said.
GIT ER' DONE
Me and Kris worked together to get the tails for us, but this one is on your own.
P.S. WTF!!! ONLY 9 PEOPLE BOUGHT KLEARZ TAILS OUT OF 20 AND A POSSIBLE 107??? Damn we at TGO aren't holding up to our word.

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
The crack in your taillight lens won't be fixed with our set of taillights because they are seperate boards that mount to your existing lenses.
Research & development takes awhile. If you can't wait for a quality proven product feel free to try something else.
The LED taillight prototypes have been made up, they have been lit up and working as you can see. They ended up going back to the drawing board due to lights not aligning up properly to the lens. Spaghetti strives to get the customer a quality product with a lifetime warranty un-like others on the market that just want to mass produce them for a profitt.
Any of you other customers that want a quality product please hang in there as we are just around the corner of anouncing them.

The thread is Full LED Digtal Tails. What kris has stated and provided is in exact terms of the thread. I understand the interest for one or the other may differ more now, but I bet when Spaghetti gets theirs done, we'll know what everyone will buy. I STILL want to see Classic LED's kit installed and working to see theirs as well which would also be good for comparison but to see how these kits actually look.
Cant wait...

Well for starters thank you for hijacking this thread !!
Secondly spaghetti engineering won "Product of the year" this year at SEMA!! so they are obviously still ahead of the rest of the market.
THIRD: The crack in your taillight lens won't be fixed with our set of taillights because they are seperate boards that mount to your existing lenses.
Research & development takes awhile in case you didn't know. If you can't wait for a quality proven product feel free to try something else but please DO NOT BRING THIS INTO A TREAD A FRIEND OF MINE STARTED!! START OUR OWN PLEASE!
The LED taillight prototypes have been made up, they have been lit up and working as you can see. They ended up going back to the drawing board due to lights not aligning up properly to the lens. FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
The crack in my tail light lens, well I have new lenses from klearz.com that awaits a LED kit. That's why I am getting tired of waiting.
So take a chill, this thread is about FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS. This is just another option available. Nobody is forcing you to buy them.
Classicleds.com also has a lifetime warrenty.
And if you think Spaghetti doesn't want to "make a profit", then your mistaken. Nobody is in business not to make a profit.

What's your deal Scot? The title of this thread is
I have not talked down about Spaghetti at all, just that I am tired of waiting for them. I'm sure their LED kit is gonna be awesome.

But starting a seperate thread of those other lights would be the right thing to do instead of bringing someone elses product into a thread started for these. It's like selling a car and you coming into that thread and posting up that there is this other car that is nice too. See my point?
The LED taillights from Spaghetti speak for themselves when it comes to quality, fit, design and look.
Here is a pic of a car with tinted taillights that was done at a body shop.
(Just an example of how these show through tinted lenses)

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
Very simple! This thread was started about spaghetti's product, The product called (DIGITAILS)!!
Yeah and they also use a socket connection that has been proven to be very un-reliable in the past.
People jumped on the LED bulb band wagon because these were too expensive for them. What I see now is those bulbs failing like crazy and they keep replacing them constantly. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and buy a quality proven product once instead of going the cheaper route, It can cost more in the long run...
I'm not mad at all, and I unsderstand If you can't wait. you should buy them and install them, then start your own thread about those lights.

Im so excited for prototyping. Granted I wont be able to purchase it most likely, but at least they will be ready for purchase when I can.
I'll take it they arent doing a group buy, they are straight up making them correct and selling them.

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
Whatever. You go ahead on your rant. Plenty of threads out there about a certain product that also has another companies similar product/s. Look at all the threads about wonderbars, SFCs, headlights, ect.
As for the picture comparison, different ambient lighting, as well as what equipment was used to photograph.
Don't tell me that this photo hasn't been altered in any way, shape, or form.
Looks like it to me.
A socket connection is just perfect if you don't want to hack up your cars wiring. Maybe not important to some, but very important to others. It's what the factory uses.
OHHHH, now I see what your problem is
Your in it for the money (profit), and your scared that classicleds.com is going to hurt your bottom line. A little competitions enters, and your getting all flustered.
You can't compare this thread to a classified ad selling a car. Apples to oranges!
BTW: I am not the one who brought up the classicleds.com product. Fast92RS found them on ebay, a couple of people seemed intrigued be them, so I decided, because Spaghetti was taking so long, I'd do a little leg work and get some more info.
Also, in your post this morning, post #90, is the first mention of "DIGITAILS". I am not a mind reader, this whole time (about a year now), I just thought LED tail lights had been dubbed, digital tail lights. I never knew Spaghetti calls their product DIGITAILS!
Bottom line guys, Boosted6 is a vendor, dealer, whatever you want to call it for Spaghetti. The whole reason he doesn't like classicleds.com in this thread is he is afraid it will take money out of his pocket.
I don't think there is anything wrong with mentioning and discussing a competitors product in this thread.
Makes me second guess him as a person I would trust with my money. Maybe I'll start researching for another dealer/vendor for Spaghetti.

Re: FULL L.E.D. DIGITAL TAILS
(krisb410) Sorry but there really was no rant! Look kris if you want the classicled lights then that is what you need to go and get!
1) YES, I am a dealer for DIGITAILS (Spaghetti Eng).
2) NO, The whole reason I don't like seeing ANY other brand named in ANY thread that is pertaining to a Specific brand name is due Soely because I see it as un-ethical. PERIOD!!
3) It has NOTHING to due with so called "Money out of my pocket"!!! or worried classic is going to hurt our bottom line! Competition is competition and that is fine with me. If there was a seperate thread on classic's lights I wouldn't mind the least bit!
Kris, i'm sorry you feel this way but my reputation speaks for it's self. I have bent over backwards to help each and every one of my customers (i.e talking to customers for hours on sundays and late at night helping them solve problems, providing them tips to make there installation easyier) to solve any and every problem or question that they may have and i'm proud of that!! Try and call classicled on sunday for help, Try and call them after hours for help! This is what I do for my customers. See it's not all about the money with me when I could be working and making money instead i'm on the phone 24/7 constantly helping my customers.
