UPDATED PRICES AND OPTIONS!!
I'm starting a new list since I can't edit my original one. Please have a look at the prices I've listed below. If, and ONLY if you are ready to buy AND have money in hand, then please reply again on here stating your commitment to buy. Mark has agreed to include their 4th gen spindles as well as the 3rd gen rack & pinion spindles in the group purchase. If you have any friends that'd be interested, make sure to let them know. Let me know if you want 3rd gen, 3rd gen (rack & pinion; let me know if you need a rack as well), or 4th gen dropped spindles. The GP discounts are as follows:

Re: UPDATED PRICES AND OPTIONS!!
I am down for the dropped spindles. Stock steering.
I will post up if I am interested in the brake setups. There are way too many options and prices for me to commit to anything until the post is made by both Ed and Mark with their options and prices.

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
I'm here....
Here's the test shots I promised you guys. I'll be contacting Mark soon so we can work out the details as some brackets fit without issue and some don't.
Brackets I have that will fit these spindles without issue are C5/C6, Wilwood kit brackets for the 12.2" "GTA" wheel kit and the 13" kit I offer.
12.2" and 13" Wilwood (similar brackets):
C5:
C5/C6 caliper with ZO6 14" rotor:
Brackets I offer that currently have issues with the spindles are the C4/C4 HD, LS1, and CTS-V brackets.
CTS-V/LS1 style (similar brackets):
C4/C4 HD:
The two problem brackets interfere where the lower abutment bracket bolt hole is located. The steering stop bolts are in the same area as well as the spindle material itself, it will have to be trimmed and/or cut out in order to get the necessary bolt in there. Honestly, with the drop the spindles give the steering stop can probably be removed completely without issue as the stock spindle doesn't hit the stock cast stop anyway and this may be the case here.
I will have fully assembled test setup pics soon so you guys can see the finished product will look like.
Input welcome..thanks!
Ed

Looks great Ed, I guess we need to figure out if that steering stop can be completely removed. Thanks again for your input and hard work!

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
Well I'm not sure where we stand with this anymore but I'm no longer getting any e-mail notifications from thirdgen.org so I didn't even noticed anyone had replied. If anyone wants to take this over and make it happen feel free to do so. If not I'll do my best. I'm still curious where we stand as far as the steering stops.

Sounds to me like Racecraft was waiting to hear from Ed regarding rotating the caliper to clear the stops. I wouldn't throw in the towel yet.

I think you're right. Somehow I've fixed my notifications (I think). I'll still do everything I can to make this happen. We'll wait to hear from Ed.

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
Ed, I'm PMing you regarding the fitment of your C4/C4 HD, LS1, and CTS-V brackets. Mark has offered to make new ones that won't hit the steering stop, but he'd need some of yours as a template to work off of. Thanks

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
Sorry for the delay in any update fellas but I've been very, very busy, both with brake work and the real job. It happens.
I'll be calling Mark today (Wednesday) and giving him an update. I just finished making changes to my LS1 and C4 patterns so at this time I have brackets ready for the following: 12-13" C4, 12" LS1, C5/C6 (12.75-14"), 12.2" and 13" Wilwoods. I would like some time to get the patterns back from my vendor and make sure they work but we need to know which setups you guys want to run so we can make the brackets that we will need. I don't mind doing the work but I don't want to have a shelf full of spare brackets that no one needs, I'm sure you all understand that. I will likely make a run of 3-5 pair of each to start, make sure they work like I like and then go from there. Again, once I talk to Mark you'll be better informed.
Thanks all.
Ed

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
What you have ready is what most of us run (C4, C5/6, LS1, Wilwoods). I have LS1 brackets myself, so I'd say those are the most important.

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
I have the new patterns finished and will likely send them to the cutter this week based on my conversations with Mark. Here's a shot of how the new LS1 brackets will look, minor spindle clearancing will be required around the lower bolt hole for the socket head abutment bolts.

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
Can we get some spindles that do not require any additional work?
After spending close to $2000 for a new front brake setup, it would be nice for everything to work together right out of the box.

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
+1. Between the spindles and a GTA setup I'll be in about $2000. Personally I won't be using the LS1 setup, but this should be a bolt-in setup for everyone, including current LS1 brake users. Ed and Mark I hope you're able to resolve this for us. It'd be a shame to have to grind away at the shiny powdercoat on those spindles. Let us know please, thanks

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
exactly. That's what I'm hoping and I was just curious as to the details of their conversations. Hopefully Mark will be able to do that for us. I just want to be proactive about this to make sure we don't end up with problems.

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
Ed, send me a bracket so we can get the spindle modified or email me a drawing and I will cut one out. If you can send a bracket call the shop I will get you our UPS account #.
Thanks, Mark

Hey guys.. I got the new LS1 and C4 brackets in today, I'll be sending some to Mark so he can modify the spindles accordingly. I'll post up a few pics later. We have brackets for C5/C6, LS1, 12" and 13" C4, and any Wilwood kit I have made.
Thanks!

Wow, the spindles look great. I may go this route on my next project!!!!
I already have a set of lowering spindles on one of my 3rd gens. The other has an eibach pro-kit.

So what is the difference between the 2 versions of the lowered spindles for the 3rd Gen Fbody?

One set is a direct replacement for what you have now
the other is if you've swapped in a rack and pinion into your car..... pretty slick honestly.

How did you get ahold of him?
He hasn't responded here or PM's.
RaceCraft, have any of the issues been resolved?
I just got a new front suspension setup and looking to get some new front spindles and brakes from RaceCraft.

Re: NEW Group Purchase of Dropped Spindles
Hi fellas, again I apologize for being a bit late with an update. I have sent Mark the C4 and LS1 brackets to test with the spindles and we're working on the details on those, some minor tweaking may still be needed.
I did just finish up a 13" Wilwood kit using the C4 HD rotor and the FSL caliper and will post pics of that later this evening. I think Jesse will like this setup very well.
Please PM or call me directly or e-mail as needed, I try to respond in order of my contacts and do my best to respond in a timely manner but sometimes I do lose track of contacts. If I haven't got back to you shoot me another message or call. Thanks!

Here's a few test shots of Jesse's kit as described above, just bolt it right on to the RC spindles. I hope to have some test shots of LS1 and possibly C4 brakes later this evening with the new prototype test brackets.
Ed
To keep the bracket weight down I used a small aluminum spacer between the spindle and bracket. These are not needed on stock spindles but are with the RC spindles:
