more info about these lcas taken from ebay (umi relo brackets found on ebay)
"Reposition your instant center by changing your lower control arm angle for improved traction. Brackets lower rear of control arm up to 3", a must for all lowered vehicles to correct lost suspension geometry. By lowering your vehicle you are changing the lower control arm angle allowing the rear mounting point to sit higher than the front. This will, in return, cause wheel hop and a great deal of traction loss.
Lowered Vehicles: We do not recommend lowering a 3rd or 4th generation F-Body without lower control arm relocation brackets due to the compromise in the geometry on the instant center. Brackets will significantly improve instant center position, eliminate wheel hop and increase traction. Brackets installed will also help 60-foot times of .10 or better, lower ETs and increase track consistency--a must for all lowered vehicles!
Non-Lowered Vehicles: Product installed on a stock height vehicle will also see a great increase in traction by lowering the rearward angle of the lower control arm, allowing more force to be placed on the rear tires. Relocation brackets have two settings to allow the lower control arm to be lowered either 2" or 3", depending on your preference. Settings are placed in a correct pattern that will allow use of all OEM control arms or any aftermarket control arm (brackets do not require a longer control arm.) Brackets installed on a non-lowered F-Body provide a .10 or better 60-foot; reduction and an increase in track consistency.
Installation:
Brackets are Weld-in only and install in approximately 1 - 1½ hours. All hardware and installation instructions are included with each kit."
pics of them installed:
now whos gonna get in on this a be #12. There is exactly 1 month to get in on this gp. Dont miss out.

What's different about the ones for the aftermarket rearends vs stock? I'll put my name down for a set, but I'm under the impression that the cheaper ones should work with an aftermarket rear if they work with a stock rear. Does anyone know?

The aftermarket rearends are fabbed up with thicker steel than the stockers, the stock relocation brackets do not work withthe aftermarkets, trust me.
Ryan at UMI wrote....
Moser rear ends have very loose tolerances, they make the inside on there control arm mounts on the rear end very wide while also using a thicker steel then GM. The makes the relocation brackets made for the GM rear not wide enough to slide over the Moser rear ends. Even prying them open will not work. The relocation brackets we build designed for the Moser 12-Bolt and 9" are widen to fit over the control arm mounts, they also feature thicker steel in the inside to correct the wideness of the mount by Moser.

go to UMI Performance Inc. and get their contact info. Call up and ask for Ryan. He can tell you everything you need to know. Just tell him your calling about the lca gp from thirdgen.org.

Haven't been online for a while & glad I came back now. I purchased the subframe connectors on the last GP & was impressed with Ryan's customer service & the product.....So, count me in for the stock style brackets!

7 more.. 7 more.. 7 more.. and 8 days to go... I`ve already had a set of UMI`s relocation brackets and The install was simple due to the fact that the part fit well. I now need another pair (new axle) and ryan`s are the only ones I`m willing to weld on to the moser. It would be nice to get a deal on`em, but I`m buying either way.

I hate to say this but I`m out, I ran across a new pair for the moser for less than the group purchase, couldn`t pass on them for the price, good luck.
