*SOLD* 1991 Firebird convertible, T56, 54K miles *SOLD*
1991 Firebird convertible w/ 54K original miles. Factory LO3 (305 TBI)/auto car but now has T56
Engine: Engine is still stock 305 with smog pump and all emissions removed, Open element air cleaner, billet tall centerbolt valve covers, 255GPH fuel pump (no access panel cut!), Coated Hooker headers, no cat, Flowmaster exhaust, PROM by Tuned Port Performance (car looks and operates like it came with the T56 from factory)
Trans: T56 is from a ’00 SS that had approx. 30K miles, converted to LT1 bellhousing, midplate & input shaft, (I’ve put maybe 3K miles on it), Dakota converter box and electronic reverse lockout used with T56 install, 4th gen pedals with 3rd gen pedal brace, reinforced firewall (no flex) and adj. clutch rod, Stage 2.5 Competition Clutch, B&M Ripper shifter, Spohn crossmember
Rear: Rebuilt 7.5 w/ factory posi, 3.73s & girdle setup by Walter Racecraft
Suspension: Alston inner SFCs & tunnel mounted torque arm, 34mm Iroc front & Hotchkis rear swaybars, Hotchkis RCAs, Panhard bar & springs, KYB struts, adj strut mounts, Baer bumpsteer, QA1 STB, Iroc/WS6 steering box, Global West steering brace, cherokee steering shaft, poly a-arm bushings and endlinks
Brakes: Factory C5 front & LS1 rear discs, drilled and slotted rotors, extended wheel studs, stainless brake hoses & Ed Miller rear parking brake cables
Interior: Jegs seats (have original seats as well), auto up/down window mod, Hawks manual shifter plate with 6-speed indicator, white gauge faces, pillar gauge pod with AEM Wideband & Autometer Phantom electric fuel pressure gauges, Sony high-output bluetooth headunit with Polk speakers front and rear (have original headunit as well)
Misc: Cold AC, converted to R-134a, RaceStar 17x9.5s w/ Nitto NT05 275/40s, 3” Harwood. Paint/top fair with typical blemishes here and there that come along with a 28 year old car, trunk is faded and top is pulling up from rear of frame (as shown in pics, never a concern for me as I never drive with top up). I’ve used mostly for autocrossing and cruising with the family but reluctantly selling bc I bought a C5 that is ready to race and want to focus on my 70 Skylark vert. I’m sure I’m forgetting stuff...asking $7500
Build thread: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/conv...nvertible.html
I also have a very low-mileage, rebuilt L98 long block with stock internals, Accel runners, full harness, MSD box and MegaSquirt that I bought from a member on here last fall for $1200 that I could work in with sale of car for the right price. Otherwise, I’m putting that and another T56 I have into my Skylark.

I’ll take dibs on the tan driver side cup holder should you choose to part it out instead
Seriously though, good luck with the sale. Never been the biggest fan of cowl hoods on 3rd gen birds, but the red on tan, white face gauges, and wheels along with the rest of the mods makes this a great looking car!

Re: 1991 Firebird convertible, T56, 54K miles
I have a friend that put those wheels on a 71 Chevelle and I absolutely HATE them on that car. This is the first time I've seen those wheels on anything else, and they are KILLER on a third gen! WOW....they look like they belong on it. Very, VERY cool looking!!! DAMN....
