Is the 4.8 stock, what exhaust did you put on it also the truck assesories apparently won't fit , what did you use .

It's a stock 4.8 with a dorman ls6 intake. Headers are 1 3/4" long tubes, custom y-pipe to 3 inch single in single out magnaflow . Before the muffler its split like the borla to make it more aggressive. Ls3 camaro water pump, combination of a dirty dingo alternator bracket and ls simple powersteering bracket welded together.

Is there any rust underneath or anywhere ?

I can get you pics after work today. Zero rust car is almost new looking underneath. Sorry I don't have any receipts for it. I did do the swap myself. If your in NJ you don't need to go through inspection. It doesn't have a cat on it but if you needed to there is room to. I would think it would pass the sniff test but probably not pass hooked to the ECU because the rear o2s are deleted

If you put a good race cat on it, it would pass Delaware sniffer test. Hell that 4.8 runs cleaner and better than the 305 that was in it.

Yes I'm in de with an inspection lane we are having trouble getting a stock third gen with a,v6 thru my 86 with the 88 vette motor cruises thru now my son is almost 18 and into third gens , what's your estimate on the hp , how hard do you think it will be sounds like the cats,easy but how would I deal with the sensor issue ?

If its just the sniffer test a cat would be enough. My 1989 swapped 5.3 truck passed the sniffer in Jersey before they did away with it. The carpet and rear seats are currently out of the car because it does leak water behind the passenger side front seat. I've only had the car a year so I haven't addressed everything.
