I've had offers, but no one's showed up with the cash yet.

Wow, that hood is a lot rougher condition than I thought. Whatever blew up in your engine bay ruined the paint and caused massive corrosion of the metal hardware. I'm going to pass on the hood. Just not worth the extra cost of the trip.

That's fine that you are passing on the hood. Yes, the paint under the hood will need to be resprayed. Didn't think this was a big deal since, a) it's under the hood, and b) you have to paint any hood to match anyway. Even if you bought a factory hood with the same paint code, you'd likely need to repaint the hood to match as no two cars' paint is going fade or wear in the same manner once they leave the factory. Also, there's is nothing corroded or wrong with any of the metal hardware on the hood.

I have the same intake and Im wondering if you have had heard that there would be any issues with the tranny whining if the tv cable isn't mounted in the right place? I have heard 1"down and 1/2" back, would be able to post a pic to show me where and how you have mounted the cable on the side of the intake?

He hasn't gone through it as far as I know. I keep bugging him to give me first "dibs" on some of the items

I haven't heard from @Black00SS in a few weeks. Guess I assumed he's very very busy trying to catch up. Last I heard he at a lot on the auto-hobby plate, and winter is right around the corner, so it makes sense... Hope all is well.

I remember seeing a 700R4 in those pics. Looks like I may need another transmission so I was just wondering what he still has.
