91 Trans Am Street/Track

It's time to get something different. I've owned 5 F Bodys and know them pretty well by now, and I can say that this one is definitely been the nicest I've built. I've learned where to spend money and where to save it with the previous cars and I've used the experience to build this car over the last 4 years. This car was bought on this site from Spiers (sp?) back in 2009. Since then, it's changed just a tiny wee bit.

I HAVE taken this to a few tracks, very few of the miles I've put on it have been anything other than cruising around with my wife on weekends or going to Cars & Coffee. For those that would like to see the track stuff:

How about rust in the body, undercarriage, etc? Do you have pictures of the engine compartment and underneath? Thanks!

Re: 91 Trans Am Street/Track

Alright ladies and gentleman. I know you got your taxes back so you're not broke. I really want to buy a Vette this year, so somebody come buy this before I start modding some more.

$9k the way it sits
$8k without the wheels and tires

Dang. I had talked myself out of buying this car, but now you're really tempting me! Do you have any pictures showing the ground clearance with the exhaust installed?

Re: 91 Trans Am Street/Track

I don't, but I could probably take some in the next few days if that's gonna sell the car. It's pretty damn cold up here right now, and I won't be able to get decent pics of it sitting in the garage. I can tell you that the roads up here are pretty bad compared to TX, and that the only scraping I have is backing out of my steep driveway when I have a passenger. Even then, it's pretty minimal considering the size of pipe it is.

My wife has family down in Houston, so if the coming to get it part is gonna make or break a deal, send me a PM and I might be able to work something out. I just bought a brand new 20' tilt trailer and could probably be persuaded to at least meet halfway for the right price.
