1989 Trans Am WS6/L98, 44,200mi, $8,500
For Sale is my 1989 Pontiac Trans Am. I have owned it for the past 13 years having purchased it in May 2000 from Den Kelly Pontiac in Hamilton, NY. When I aquired the vehicle it had 23,3XX origional miles. This car has been very well taken care of with all maintenance done by me or a trusted mechanic. I have all the PHS documentation that belongs to this car including a copy of the invoice and window sticker.
The car was repainted at some point in its life prior to my purchase. The paint was laid down great, but it was not prepped the best and in some areas on the doors there are some sanding lines if you look real hard. There is a small door ding in the passengers door, but not something that a Dent Doctor or Dent Wizard could not get out. As the car sits it could go two ways, the next owner could spend $$$ on a paint job and have a fantastic show car or leave it as is and have a great weekend toy.
The interior needs noting and all power accys work, no worries there. The power antenna still works as well.
It has the lexan T-Tops and the issues that go with. The next owner will have to replace them down the road. It was never a priority for me as I only drove the car on nice days starting in 2002.
As the car sits it has 44,2XX miles. It has been in storage since the fall of 2006 only taken out once a year for its safety inspection for a 100-200 mile jaunt for the day.
The car is pretty loaded and has many desireable features including:
Minor modifications include:
The car still retains the factory wing which has some cracks but is not missing any pieces. All panels have the correct VIN tags on them along with the drivers door stickers and RPO code sticker in the center console. She is not perfect, I can not say that she is. But it did come in 2nd place in the Syracuse NY POCI show in 2000 & 2002.
I have lost interest in the car and frankly just do not have the time to devote to it at this point in my life. My two kids are my focus and I feel that we could do some great things with the money that we make from the sale. The car does mean a lot to me so I feel that I am being reasonable by asking $8,500. I may entertain offers, but CASH talks.

- 5.7L (350cid) Tuned Port Injected V8 good for 235HP/340FT-LBS torque
- 4-Speed Auto
- T-Tops
- WS6 Performance and Handling Package
- 16" Cross Lace Rims
- Factory Dual Catalytic Converters
- Power Antenna
Minor modifications include:
- SLP Chip with optimized fuel maps and lower fan turn on temps
- SLP Two-On-One Exhaust designed for the 5.7L Application (not the universal fit system)
- Spohn Wonder bar
- Spohn Weld in subframe connectors.
- Crime stopper alarm installed by me using a correct interconnect harness so no wires were cut during the installation. This gives it Keyless entry and remove hatch release.

I am pretty motivated to sell this car, I have dropped the price to $8,500. I need to get it gone. If you are interested give me a call, you might catch me at a weak moment.

Thank you. If you dont drive them in the winter and keep them in doors up here, they last. Only getting to drive them 1/3 of the year keeps the miles down, too. LOL
The car is still available. It also comes with the complete set of GM floor mats that came with the car the day it was new and the original T-Top cards to block the sun as well.
