I am selling my car. Its a 1988 Pontiac firebird Trans Am GTA. For its age it is in good condition. It has a 305 tpi v8 with a 5 speed standard transmission. has ttops. i put new seals in last year but has a small leak in a spot that was not done properly.(only leaks when it down pours) the engine has 101,687 miles. it is my daily driver so the miles will go up. the car looks good from a distance but it DOES need paint! the paint is chipping, it has a big spot on the hood. there is also a bondo crack in the rear quarter.ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 15TH I WAS BACKED INTO BY SOME ******* SO THE REAR QUATER HAS A BIG DENT AND PAINT IS CHIPPED. WILL NEED NEW REAR QUARTER. newer tires have about 2000 miles on them. it has a posi rear end with a 3:42 gear ratio. underneath the car is clean except from one spot. there drivers side floor pan has a rot hole the size of a soft ball from the ttops leaking before i had gotten the car. everywhere else is clean. just did an oil change a few days ago. i am thinking everything from the top of my head so im sure i will forget something. since ive gotten the car it has gotten a new thermostat, master slave cylinder, heatercore, rear springs, brake calipers, brake pads, dash pad, window motors, ttops seals, cold air intake, radiator, shifter boot, and speakers all around. im pretty sure im forgetting something but it will come to me. the heat works great but no a/c. it will need a condensor for that.also it needs a headliner . It also has a small exhuast leak from where the y pipe connects to the manifold. Needs a gasket.it is definetly is a fun car. gets a lot of looks and compliments. these cars are getting harder to find. it really is a fun car and worth the money. mostly just needs minor cosmetics except from the paint and rear quarter work. i also have a radio, subwoofer, and amp that i am taking out the day of sale. i will include a radio that i bought with the car. the only reason im selling it is to get a truck for winter. i really do not want to sell it but have to. im looking for $2500 or best offer. need to sell ASAP really is worth the money. shoot me an offer dont be shy. contact me if interested or for more info at brunetmason@yahoo.com or call/text 860 367 2672.
