I bought a 92 Trans Am a couple months ago as a spare vehicle since my wife's 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 pickup was having issues at the time. Her pickup is fixed now and working great, and I have realized that having a car is no fun for my left knee that has had 5 surgeries on it already, and it needs to have a knee replacement in the future.

Anyway my Trans Am is all complete except for a tan/beige left sun visor since it was missing when I bought the car. I just bought the correct windshield mirror for it since the PO had the wrong one in the car. I also purchased a complete passenger fog light of eBay since the lense for that light was broken. I did buy a factory front license plate mount off eBay as well, so the front plate is on the front bumper now. I installed the purchased mirror and fog light in the car this afternoon.

It has the following on it;

1. Aftermarket modern aluminum wheels on it with good BF Goodwrich tires.

2. Tan cloth interior in good shape not torn or sagging.

3. TPI 5.0 motor that runs good, doesn't smoke or burn oil with 117k on it - I put new distributor cap/rotor, plug wires, spark plugs, fuel filter, and set the timing to 6* advanced with the EST connector unplugged.

4. 700r4 transmission that shifts great and doesn't slip at all.

5. Factory posi rear end with 2.73 gears.

6. New front brake pads

The car has power windows and both of them work fine. It has power locks that work also, but the locks are sticky and don't just lock or unlock on one press of the button. It has a Kenwood CD player in it that plays music just fine as well.

The only thing wrong with the car, is the dark green/grey paint is faded on the roof, hood, and hatch area. It has the more rare checkered style tail lights in it and the passsenger side does have a crack in the plastic just to the side of the key slot, but not out where the lights are.

There is one small dent in it that was there when I bought it that is by the gas filler neck door, but it will be an easy fix. It does have a cracked windshield in it too, but it is on the passenger side.

I'm only asking for what I have into the car which is $2000 - traded today. Thanks.

$2,000 and you can drive this short production year (969) Trans Am home.

It has no rust that I've seen since it's in NE Oregon, and the Oregon title is non branded and in hand.

 

This car needs to sell, because now I am really considering it. Had you lived closer it would be mine already I would have given you what you initially wanted for it because it is absolutely worth it. Excellent deal, and WELL worth the money you are asking!

 

Both headlights go up and down great on this car.

The fog lights work, the dome lights work, all gauges work, the rear hatch motor works, the power windows work, cruise control works, etc.

THe only things that need attention are;

1. LH sun visor is missing.
2. The AC doesn't blow cold - probably needs recharged.
3. Rear hatch needs new struts.
4. Driver door internal latch is a little stiff when unlocking door with key.
5. New windshield - cracked on passenger side.
