Hello all I have for sale a 1991 GTA L-98 car for sale I have had the car for about 5 years and I havent touched it at all,I have way too many other projects going on and I dont have the time or money to do this car justice. It is a project car and is numbers matching with 350 tpi . let me list a bit of info about the car...... The mileage is about 97,000 if memory serves. The engine needs rebuilding it barely ran when I got it with a knock in the bottom end I really never spent any time trying to figure out the problems with this and just new that i would be rebuilding the engine,it is complete under the hood and really hasnt been disturbed since although I did attempt to start it up again about a year ago and it would not start. I remember that I didnt hear the fuel pump and with 5+ year old gas I should not be surprised. The transmission was rebuilt by the previous owner and has less than 3000 miles on it. The nose and the passenger fender were replaced on the car again by the previous owner the nose itself is in great shape but not completely bolted up and the headlight assemblys are in boxes in the car along with the various brackets etc. I should say that I have a ton of extra parts that go with the car including at least 5 good headlight door motors, 2 consoles ,multiple shift plates,extra brackets nuts bolts etc. extra driving/fog light assemblys,3 tire inflator cans,jacks. I also have what i believe to be a fairly rare unused lightweight aluminum temp-spare tire that has never been used. I have tons of switches etc.. The body of the car is not dented up but the paint is very faded and the clearcoat is of course peeling,the car doesnt have any rust that I see. The interior is just sitting in the car and it does not have any carpet in it. The seats while a little dirty are not torn and should clean up very nice,It does not have a headliner. The gold crosslace wheels are dirty but in good shape, The tires are junk. The hood is straight, the rear spoiler is not cracked but seems to weigh at least 300 lbs and believe it or not the decklid struts actually hold it up (amazing). The car does have 4 wheel disc brakes but I cannot testify to their condition because I have never driven the car. If anyone is interested the car is located in Westminster,md which is about a half hour from baltimore and about 20 min from Hanover pa. Obviously the car will need to be towed.I do have a clear title for this car. price??? well I got the car as part of a trade and it cost me basically about 1500 dollars I had many plans for this car but money and time have not appeared to do this. I would obviously like to get what I have invested but I do want this car gone and I will take $1000 dollars remember it is an L-98 350 tpi GTA and would make a worthwhile project with a ton of potential. You might just get more money parting the car out
But thats just my opinion.

 

I think it is worth repairing and bringing back...I wouldn't just part it out. It's not rusted or crashed/dented enough to justify a part out yet in my opinion. I think that car is worth the $1000 and if I had a truck or someone going through that area, I would be extremely interested in it. Good luck with the sale...maybe I will get through that area soon enough to take a look at this car.
