1991 Trans am GTA 27,000 miles!

Hey everybody i recently came across this GTA and the poster claims it has 27,000 original miles. From the pictures this thing looks immaculate and i thought that i would post it on here in hopes that the person that buys it is a 3rd gen enthusiast and will take great care of it! They are asking $12,000 and i would say its worth every penny. Also, keep in mind that this is NOT MY CAR. Just thought i would share the find with you all.

Very clean car, but why is the intake in front of the throttle body so crooked?

Good eye! I didn't even notice that. It makes you wonder if somebody has torn into it. Maybe they just checked/changed the air filter and left it crooked?

And why is it marked a GTA when it clearly isn't?

its a trans am, 5.0l. the wheels are wrong, a gta owuld have gold wheels, and gta's have emblems on the sail panels, not stickers.

still a sweet car though

And if you look through the windshield you see a rounded headrest - GTAs have the 'deluxe' seats with the rectangular/articulating headrests.

86TA, how do you know it's a 5.0l? Is there a visual cue on the engine size? I don't think it matters - it has t-tops, which I think means it would have a 5.0 even if it was a GTA.

Agreed - very nice car. I had its super beat up and rusted out 105k doppelganger until a few months ago.

Cause it has t-tops. The only way in 90-2 that you could get them with a 350 is in a formula with the black crosslaces (not including dealer t-top cars)

you could only get the 350 in the formy and the gta. Since this appears to be a TA, no 350.
