Also it blow smoke on startup, typical , and it drips a little oil from the front of the engine . Not a lot , but wanted to make that known .

Re: 85 Trans Am for sale
bump my car up . I cant wait till it gets warm out and someone from here , i hope buys this and loves it . I never , ever , thought i would sell this . I really thought it would be mine forever and it feels wierd to sell it .
Many have told me not to sell it since i dont have to but i dont need two summer only , no rain , barely driven cars .
Someone buy this that will love it and put a sick engine and trans into it .
Ive had many thoughts as what to do , 455 poncho and 4 speed , or t350 .
supercharged l67 v6 , 350 and t350 to be easy ,
and the most fun duramax . who wouldn't want 10s and 35+mpgs .
Someone buy this quick so i can sulk that i sold it .

Why does everybody pull the Ac out of there cars?At 15+ seconds and 87 mph it sure isn't helping 1/4 mile times. If this car had AC I'd buy it in a second. It gets hot here in the summer time. You have a very nice looking Firebird Trans Am .

Nothing to do with the speed. Has to do with the looks. The engine bay is so much cleaner with no ac

Re: 85 Trans Am for sale Price drop again 5999
Hey, bro. Love the car. Not crazy about the wheels or the A/C - cruise deletions, but I see where you're coming from. Also, do you still have the original hood for the car? I appreciate that you made it a functional ram-air setup, but I'm personally not at all a fan of these style hoods on 3rd Gen. cars.
Say, have you thought of having the car professionally appraised? That way, potential buyers might be able to get their bank to possibly loan on it. I was just talking to my bank about an '86 T/A, & they wouldn't even consider loaning a dollar on it w/o a prof. appraisal. It's not real expensive (my appraisal was $250, & it saved me from buying a car from across the country w/several undisclosed 'issues'.) Just a thought. In today's economy, people that have $5-$6k in hand just aren't spending it on 'pleasure' or 'toy' cars. Especially ones that are technically 'project cars' as this one would be for me. If the motor didn't have the (slight, minor, I understand) oil leak, & the A/C & the C.C. deleted out of it, I might try to put some reconditioned silver or graphite GTA wheels on it, a factory-correct hood back on it, etc. Just to make it more to my liking, aesthetically speaking. As it sits, w/the motor sounding like it'll need work sooner than later, I'd probly want to drop something more exciting into it. Especially since you've already built the rest of the drivetrain for more power. If I were you, I'd check into the appraisal angle. It couldn't hurt your chances of getting it sold before the snow flies. Again, nice car, & I wish you the best of luck in getting it sold. Take care.
