Hey everyone

Well, I didn't want to do this so I avoided posting here, but the time has finally come for me to put my foot down and really try to sell my 92 Formula 350.

I am in need of a daily driver that I am willing to drive year-round and can get like 30 mpg for doing internships and stuff for school, so my favorite toy unfortunately has to go.

About the car:

She's a 1992 Pontiac Formula 350 with factory t-tops (RPO code-verifiable). She is red, and has high miles (about 160k). I purchased her in January of 2009 from Bull, another TGO member, and the car has been nothing short of great to me. I recently replaced the blower motor, both headlight motors, the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, egr valve was done last year as well. Tires on the car are probably 75-80% life left at least, but I'm bad at judging that sort of thing lol

She runs and drives fantastic considering the miles, and runs like a car with half as many miles on it. She's very fast and handles like a dream. The car has a center console swapped in from a 4th gen, which hides the window switches under the ashtray cover and adds cupholders in the front and for the back seats. Car has an aftermarket Alpine head unit that's set up for satellite radio, with Polk Audio speakers and custom kick panel boxes. The setup sounds great!

Now for the more minor issues: The car has no A/C. Everything's there, it just needs a recharge or something. Never worried about it really. Passenger Side window motor is in need of replacement, which I was kind of afraid to attempt myself lol. The drivers side door cupholder was accidentally kicked off by me during a rainstorm once. Since it was always kind of in the way for me personally, I haven't bothered to replace it. The passenger side seatbelt guide has stripped holes. Some bigger screws would probably do the trick, or sticking some matchsticks in the hole and threading screws in or something.

The more major issues: My sister sideswiped the car in the driveway one day this past summer. The damage isn't terrible, but it's definitely noticeable and not too aesthetically pleasing. There's also a tiny spot of rust forming above the passenger side rear wheel well, and the spoiler is cracked on that side as well. I have been quoted around $800-850 for all of this to be fixed (not through insurance of course). I was planning on getting it done before this past summer ended, but I ran into money issues for school, and now I really need something a bit more practical for a college student.

I'd really like to get as close to $2700 as possible because of what I put into it and I really need the money for a DD, but I am flexible on the price. I'd also consider a trade for the right car so let me know what you have.

The car is located in Olivebridge, NY, which is west of Kingston, NY.

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if I have the car after New Year's since the market for a sports car just isn't there right now and will be better towards the spring. So if I still have her after New Year's, she's yours for the taking lol.

I'm in Olivebridge, NY, which is about a half hour west of Kingston, right near the Ashokan Reservoir.

ttt. The first winter snowfall is coming tomorrow so the bird is headed to the garage for the winter. Meaning that if anybody wants to buy the car between the first snowfall and spring, they're gonna have to come and help me shovel and plow out my garage if they want the car lol

Bull actually kept the Ronals when I bought the car. I was going to buy them from him this past summer but money issues got tight because of school stuff (and continue to be lol) and the deal fell through because of my having to sell the car unfortunately
