92 Formula 5.0L 5 speed
What I have for sale here is a 92 Firebird Formula hardtop(sorry all you t-top lovers). The car is 5.0L 5 speed. The engine burns no oil and has plenty of giddy-up. The 5 speed tranny shifts smooth and solid and the clutch is good and stiff. I just did a rearend swap so now the car has 4 wheel disk brakes and 3:42 posi. The only down side to the car is that it could use a paint job. The body is solid and has no holes filed with bondo and is not rusted out. I have two sets of rims that would go with the car. One set is off a c4 corvette that they are practically mint condition and look good on the car, the tires are Bridgestone Potenzas 275 40 17 all the way around. The other set is off a mid 90'f F-body and they are 5 spoke 16x8, this set is is need of new rubber. The car would also come with aftermarket suspension parts as well that are not yet installed on the car. I am some what flexible on the price but I will not just give the car away either. Trades will be considered, but I am looking for a auto cross car. Please contact through e-mail or call 612-804-9166 for more questions. I am motivated to sell so offers will be considered and I can negotiate parts out for lower cost. I would rather not deal with shipping the car but that can be arranged at buyers expence. I am willing to meet over a shorter distance but I don't want to make a long drive for nothing. If pictures are wanted then PM me your email and I will send you a bunch. 2800.00 OBO.
Thank you for looking.

Formula's didn't have GFX, thats one major clue
They also had a stiffer suspension package.
When you car fax it, every firebird comes up as a Firebird Formula.... but that was never dictated by vin.
Its a nice car, at a fair price.

Re: 92 Formula 5.0L 5 speed
actually the vin number for a base firebird and a formy are they same digit, thats why its often confused. But as its already been stated, formy's never had ground effects. and have a different rear spoiler, should also have performance handling badges on the dash. The RPO sheet in the rear locking compartment would also have ws6 on it, yours wont.
regardless, it seems ot be in quite good shape, the color is a nice color and the 5 speed hardtop gives it a plus in my book. If i was in the market for another car, and you were closer, I would definitely be interested.

Re: 92 Formula 5.0L 5 speed
about that depends on how hard you get on it. it 6-7 hr's across ND Apple Valley is down around the twin city's right. I sure like the car looks great how many miles? is all the wiring harness still in tac for the computer control sys not hacked up?

Re: 92 Formula 5.0L 5 speed
So the chassis has about 150k and change and the motor has some where around 80k give or take. The car is on good shape and to my knowledge it has never seen a winter. Like my posting says it could use a paint job. The on real rust on the body is a little bit of surface rust on the passenger rear fender lip that would only need to be sanded. The only other rear rust that would need tending to is the drivers floor pan but that would just be a patch job and but not a full replace. I forgot to put that in my post and I would rather tell you and you not be surprised if you want the car. It needs a new upper ebrake cable and I am ordering it here soon. oh yeah Apple vally is in the twin cities area.
