1987 Formula 350 74k Miles
I have my 87 Firebird Formula 350 for sale. It has 74k miles but needs work. The front and rear bumper covers have damage, the headliner is sagging, and the driver seat has a tear in the bolster. I am in the St. Louis area if you would like to check it out, and I can take additional pictures if you'd like. There are also spots of rust in front of the rear wheels.
I'll sell for $1600.00.

Can you take some pictures of the interior and maybe the rear bumper/spoiler? When you say it needs work do you mean just the stuff you mentioned, or does it need mechanical work?

Re: 1987 Formula 350 74k Miles
I will get pictures of the interior, but it may be sold locally. A run down on the car is that I purchased it two years ago being a one owner vehicle (44 year old woman first owner) with the intention of putting in a 500 hp stroker engine. After two years of gathering the good parts, I had the engine assembled and dyno tuned and put it in a 92 chevy stepside truck to get a really good sleeper. The Firebird had rusted fuel lines which I replaced, the front rotors were bad and the brakes were thin. I replaced the front brakes, calipers, rotors, and wheel bearings and found the brake line leaking in the rear when I bled them. I haven't had a chance to replace the brake lines, nor do I really want to with the hours I'm putting in at work for the next few weeks. It isn't a big or expensive job but will take me a couple of hours that I just haven't had. The car starts right up and shifts good through the gears, but fluid changes would be in order since it has only been started to move it in and out of the garage 7 or 8 times in the past two years. Other than the brakes mechanically, it could use a couple of tires. Overall it is a pretty good car for 1600.00 and in fairly good shape for a 21 year old vehicle. I believe the front bumper cover could be heated up and put back into position, but the rear has a couple of tears and would probably be much less work to find one at a junk yard for 50.00. I will take some additional photos this afternoon and get them to you.
----------
I forgot to mention that I also replaced the hood and hatch shocks last week when I did the brakes, so that is one less thing to worry about.
