1984 Trans Am for Sale in New Mexico
Hey guys,
I really hate doing this but the time has come to part with my beloved bird.
It's a 1984 Pontiac Trans Am with 117k miles. Original 305, 700R4 and 3.73 posi rear end. It also has T-tops, power windows, power seats (Driver only), power locks, air conditioning, and rear defrost. Basically, if it had it as an option, it's got it.
I've added an 85 front clip and 89 rear end (I like the GTA look), hotchkis lowering springs, hotchkis front and rear sway bars, a complete front end kit (minus pitman arm) and Polyurethane bushings all around from PST, a wonderbar and a new aluminum radiator from BeCool. I had the transmission rebuilt almost two years ago now with a B&M shift kit (Front pump started leaking) and I rebuilt the rear end when the bearings started to go bad. I've also put on a new Q-Jet carb from Jet performance products.
The body is strait and the car has never been in a wreck. There is no rust on this car! I had it garaged every year from October to May until I was stationed down here in New Mexico where I got to drive it year-round.
I'm asking $5500 here in Clovis NM. You can find pictures on the cardomain link below. Please send a PM if you are interested. I will deliver as 100 miles. Attached is a picture of the car from my cardomain site. You can visit the site here...

Re: 1984 Trans Am for Sale in New Mexico
Well, I'm PCS'ing (transferring) to a new base in March and my wife said..."What if I can't find a job right away to help make the truck payments"...Well...how can I argue with that logic. Looks like I won't have to sell after all (Something to be said for cars that are paid for...). However, I can't fault her logic originally. "For every dollar spent on your Trans Am, that's one less dollar saved for your Camaro Restoration"....
I"ve got a 67 Camaro in a Garage waiting for me to get the money to take it to a body shop and have it sand blasted. /sigh So many decisions...

I know the car and it is in really great shape and sounds pretty good, I've seen it around base and town and it's probable the nicest third gen around here (even nicer than mine, lol). But car is def worth what he's asking. So bump it up for a nice *** '84!!

No I haven't been down there yet. The track any good??? I think I'm gonna go to Roswell the next time I get a chance to run my car. It's a lil bit lower down there. Not as high of a DA will run better #'s
