1987 GTA for sale.
Hey guys, I'm selling my GTA, mainly because I have my heart set on a couple different other toys and I can only have one (or so the wife says).
I live in southwest Ohio, about 20 minutes north of Dayton, in Troy.
Anyways, here are the particulars:
1987 Flame Red Metallic GTA
5.0L TPI, auto w/T-Tops, red interior
54,700 miles
The car has new tires, new brakes, new idler arm and new tie rod ends. Flowmaster muffler and hypertech chip. The car is 90% perfect-it's been driven, so there are a few nicks in the paint and small dimples here and there. I did have the nose refinished two weeks ago and it's flawless.
Here are some pics:

I'm asking $6,500.

I don't know. First off that is a BEAUTIFUL car. but it may be more than most people are willing to pay. you're price seems a little high, but thats just my opinion, its your car I don't know what its worth.
but again nice car man. I hope to find one that nice when I look for another one later this year.

and yet, every third-gen TA in a 300 mile radius of my house with under 100k miles is listed for around $10k.
Yeah, I'm sure I could sell it for 5k. I feel like that would be an incredibly stupid thing to do, though.

Man, beautiful car man. Most people looking to buy a thirdgen don't have that kind of budget, your car is most definitly worth 7k, it's just realistically too high for some. IMHO if you don't sell the car, keep it, you don't frind 80's birds in excellent shape like that anymore.

I can go $5,500 if you can drive the car to Akron OH for the title transfer.
I'm at jgkov@msn.com; if interested, please e-mail me and refer to Flame Red '87 GTA, thanks.

I would not sell this car for a penny less than what you are asking. I looked for months before I bought my car and you just don't find very many of these cars in the condition that yours is in. Just so you know, I found my car through Autotrader.com so you might want to try that as a resource for selling your car. Also, you might want to post your car on GTAsourcepage.com as well. Good luck man. It's a beautiful car.

No I didn't sell it.
I ended the auction because the guy who bid the reserve didn't mean to and had no intention of buying the car in the first place. I'll consider relisting it if I HAVE to sacrifice it quickly.
I'm leaving it up for sale here and in my Autotrader, if I had my way I'd keep it. I got the green light from the boss (wife) to get my next TA without having to sell this one first, because the seller was ready to dump THAT car on ebay and didn't want to wait around for me to buy it.
What this all means is yes it's still for sale, and I'll honor the asking price of $6500 but I'm not in a mad panic to sell it anymore so that price is absolutely firm.
