evo II kit is back on sale. for half price
I was search the net today, just see what is out there about the k1 evoluzione kitt.
when it come out in 2000 i really want it but could not afford one,( still could not afford one for the original price. It was about 10 grand plus shipping).
I read here that a lot of people like the kitt, but was too pricey. Then they quit make it, and could not find the company website anymore.
Now they back again, and this time the kit about half the price as was before.
here is the link:

I must say its one of the better camaro body "Kits" that I have seen. Still not my cup of tea. But still pretty sharp.

Its def a cool kit.
I like to see a few different headlight options other then the mitsu eclipse, but no matter what, youll stand out with this.
I do like the company, heard good things.
And thanks (my build) I am NOT on this level but I hope in the end it is just as cool.

Nice looking car, just the sound of a OHV V8 in there just wouldn't go with the car. Nothing I would buy.

I like it...idk about $6,000...hay blacktopking....did you see the mirrors. ..you could almost get the same look with a set of pontiac mirrors. ..4th gen dont have the opening between mirror and car ...but other Pontiac cars do....

Re: evo II kit is back on sale. for half price
The evo II body is much better construction then the Evo I the rear of the car is much better to install and a lot less cutting and fume issues. Had mine for alomst 7 years on the road and it draws to much attention sometimes but car still looks good. Yes the v8 sound doesn't fit styling but a lot of mufferler chasing and it's not to bad. I do like the 2 better then the one. I have a combination of both just wish I had the 2 rear clip.

Lol..I just remember that I have 3 pics in my phone of a 3rd gen with this evo kit...at the time I took the pics ..I didn't know what I was looking at...the kit is held on with deck screws...I didn't get any close up pics...something I didn't like was ...if the back glass was to break, you would have to undo the rear of the car..I dont know how to put pics out in a thread ...but ill put them on my profile ...I have a galaxy s3..and after the last update is when I started with this problem. ..

Re: evo II kit is back on sale. for half price
And, your killing me with the mirrors...lol
So just for you...consider them gone (do much for one factory body piece...this leaves headlights n tail lights...seriously endangered)
I wanna see pic....
N
Deck screws? Shot...not even self tappers...hopes its alot of screws...cause viberation is the beast to screws.
Dont know why ppl dont just rivit, then....nothing wronge with it, flatter, easier to hide n you can get ss rivits or steel n tak...i mean...its built proof compaired to a screw your sealong away...never to be unscrewed...but hey...how dare I judge...lmao

its like buying a nother car. im sure this car with really nice wheels and paint would get more looks than a corvette or even new zl1s, gt500s, etc.

Sometimes the car get to much attention, I have thought of selling mine just to get a break from all the attention. I have had it for sale then not for sale and then for sale and not for sale.

Yes i have had people fly down the highway to catch me to ask what kind of car it was had others drive past and i look over to see a video being recorded of me and the car. The amount of money to build one of these kits and the time is way more then i was ready for i got my kit for $6000 had $3000 in wheels and tires and yes you will need custom built wheels then $1500 for body prep and primer the work was never ending everything was custom this and that nothing ez about any of it.

Re: evo II kit is back on sale. for half price
thats knda what im looking for. my original build was gonna b a c6 with a widebody zr1 kit. but i decided to build a 3rd gen. i think im gonna go with the e2 kit.
i like the spoiler and rear lights better than e1.
i thought bout wheels also. contacted bogart. and they can build the wheel$
im thinking d10 or rr10 based. none if its gonna be "cheap". but still come in way.lower than a c6 corvette build. and everyone here has corvettes. any build u can think of.
im in the process of assembling my engine and trans. soon as i finish all that. gonna start looking into the kit

them wheels just make it look right.
im prepared to take on the expense, for kit, wheels.
prep and paint. well i build motors and i built a motor for a friend who is a proffesional
body man. his business is boat fiberglass and custom fiberglass and paint.
so he is gonna do prep. im gonna pay for materials, but otherwise labor and.prep is alredy paid for.

Re: evo II kit is back on sale. for half price
They should just put this kit on that ridiculous F41 Raptor Camaro. It would look better.
I do love the tail the most on this kit. Should I ever inherit unlimited funds, I would do this to another thirdgen. But as I can afford only the ONE thirdgen I own, it shall remain mostly stock appearing.
