Custom amp rack

I ran into a small problem when it came to hiding the amps in my car . I am going for a factory modified look and I highly doubt the first place GM would have bolted a couple amps is right there on the hump out in the open . So I came up with this .

Holds both of my amps securely and fits perfect in the rear compartment on the drivers side, with the removal of the cardboard insert that is.

There is no need to make any holes or do anything to damage the car . I will post up more pics test fitting it a bit later .

Re: Custom amp rack

That looks pretty cool. Seems that is a good spot for the amps. The only thing I'd suggest is make sure your hatch weather stripping is good (and doesn't leak). I've had one or 2 puddles in that spot before...

Re: Custom amp rack

Nice! I have become obsessed with putting a subwoofer in that spot, but I'm curious to see what this looks like!

I like it. I'm all for keeping everything stealth. No one needs to know what we have done to our cars. I hate people looking inside, you never know if they are a car guy or looking for easy pickings.

X2 on the stealth appearance. Also, I like a clean "stockish" look.
