Custom hood Louvers
Hello i was wondering if anyone knew how to make custom hood louvers that came on an iroc . i have am 84 z28 hood and i think i could put them on but if anyone knows how to please tell.

Erm, pretty broad statement... you could make them out of plastic like the factory ones, or fibre-reinforced plastic (composites), both of which would require making a mold, or you could fab up something with metal. All of these are gonna take a good bit of work. The fact that you're asking this question leads me to believe you've got no experience in fabrication of any kind, which means you've got a lot of learning to do. Do a bit of research on metalworking, composite work, and molding plastic to get an idea what's involved in each, then decide how you want to do it, then do a lot more research in that area, come up with a plan, beg/borrow/buy necessary tools, probably make a couple practise pieces, then build your product.

I've seen thick clear Lexan windows put in the stock openings, to see the detailed engine compartment.
